Cheshire Adds Insurance Planning to Wealth Manager

Cheshire Software has released a new version of its financial planning software program, Cheshire Wealth Manager, with a new feature for analyzing insurance-planning needs.

The function allows users to determine the life and disability insurance needs of clients. The insurance-planning feature lets users work with various insurance scenarios, adjusting income, expenses and account contributions.

The main features of Cheshire's wealth management software generate projections of net worth and cash flow, forecast the chances of meeting goals using Monte Carlo probability analysis, provide recommendations for meeting funding shortfalls, and illustrate potential future outcomes using "what-if" scenarios.

A free 30-day trial version is available for evaluation at www.cheshire.com. A full license costs $900 per year.
