Citrin Cooperman Adds Entertainment Partner

Citrin Cooperman & Company has brought on Arnold J. Hermann as partner and practice leader of the firm’s Entertainment, Media and Family Office Group.

Herrmann, 47, has more than 22 years experience serving as a trusted financial advisor to high-profile individuals working in the film, media and the restaurant industries. Among his clients are well-known film directors, actors, producers, television journalists, restaurateurs and corporate executives.  Prior to joining Citrin Cooperman, Herrmann was a senior managing director at Starr & Company, LLC, a financial consulting and business management firm.

“With the addition of Arnie, Citrin Cooperman has expanded the depth and breadth of the services we offer in our entertainment practice, bringing it to a higher level” said Citrin Cooperman managing partner Joel Cooperman in a statement. “Arnie is well-known in the entertainment business community, and furthers our firm’s ability to expand and provide a complete range of asset management services to those in that industry.”

As practice leader of the Entertainment, Media and Family Office Group, Herrmann will oversee a team of professionals, providing individuals and their families, advice on investment advisory and business management services, tax planning and compliance, as well as estate and retirement planning.

“Individuals in the entertainment and media industries, as well as other high net-worth clients often are involved in a range of activities involving their assets, with the need for professional management,” said Herrmann in a statement. “Our job is to protect those assets and to maximize opportunities for our clients to grow their wealth.”

Herrmann, a resident of Tenafly, N.J., is a member of both the American Institute of CPAs and the New York State Society of CPAs. He is a trustee and the treasurer of Jenna’s Rainbow Foundation, which is dedicated to assisting children and families battling brain and spinal cord tumors.
