Cloud Technology Partners Announces Availability of PaaSLane 2.0

Cloud solutions provider Cloud Technology Partners announced Tuesday the general availability of PaaSLane 2.0, which analyzes Java and .NET application source code to improve cloud readiness and accelerate application migration to public or private clouds.

PaaSLane 2.0 features:

•    Full .NET language support with more than 200 .NET-specific rules

•    A redesigned reporting interface with live drill-down into alert detail with interactive charting

•    New options for exporting reports including a PDF summary and Excel detail report, which can be imported into issue trackers and agile development tools.

•    Rapid access to applications for cloud readiness

•    Accelerated cloud migrations and the ability to develop cloud-native software

•    The ability to continuously optimize applications for evolving cloud platforms by delivering real-time intelligence on changes affecting the application

“PaaSLane can tackle the assessment of existing Java and .NET apps with ease, quantifying factors such as coding errors, hardcoded dependencies, security, and scalability problems, along with several other factors could quickly derail a cloud project,” said Ben Grubin, director of product management at Cloud Technology Partners, in a statement. “PaaSLane helps overcome these issues by leveraging source code inspection and a built-in cloud platform knowledgebase driven by extensive research to identify and resolve issues quickly, accelerating application migration and cloud optimization.”

Cloud Technology Partners published a webinar, “How to Rapidly Migrate Java and .NET Applications to the Cloud with PaaSLane 2.0” to give more information on the announcement.
