CollegeFrog Renamed as Accountingfly

The accounting job site CollegeFrog has been renamed Accountingfly as the site adds the function of allowing accounting firms to recruit experienced employees.

Through the site, employers can hire accounting interns, entry-level and experienced staff members. The software now organizes the hiring process and builds Talent Pools, large databases of candidates from which firms can recruit.

Accountants and accounting students who are searching for a job can build a profile, apply to thousands of jobs, and be notified of job opportunities over the course of their careers. The company currently has 20,000 students signed up.

The Pensacola, Fla.-based company, which was founded in 2011 to help accounting students find jobs, still plans to host its annual National Meet The Firms Week for accounting students.

Along with its partner Accounting Today, Accountingfly is also launching Advance: The Accounting Career Summit, an online job fair for experienced candidates, on August 14. Firms such as Kaufman Rossin & Co, Lacher McDonald & Co., Yeo & Yeo, Porte Brown CPAs and others have signed on to participate.
