Copanion Integrates with CCH, Thomson Reuters

Copanion’s GruntWorx Populate paperless tax workflow application now integrates with CCH’s ProSystem fx Tax and Thomson Reuters Tax & Accounting’s UltraTax CS.

GruntWorx Populate identifies, organizes, and labels scanned tax forms into a single bookmarked PDF file and then extracts the relevant tax data to automatically populate Individual tax returns. Integration with ProSystem fx Tax and UltraTax CS supports a paperless tax workflow by eliminating the manual sorting and entering of client tax data.

GruntWorx Populate was formerly known as GruntWorx Pro, but the company recently introduced another GruntWorx product, GruntWorx Gather, a portal that helps transfers client data to the accountant (see Copanion Unveils Tax Data Retrieval Solution), and the new name helps differentiate the product. In addition to integrating with CCH’s ProSystem fx Tax and Thomson Reuters’ UltraTax CS, the company plans to add integration with Intuit’s ProLine. The software already integrates with Thomson Reuters' GoSystem Tax RS, in addition to Microsoft Excel and Adobe Acrobat.
