Cougar Mountain Software has added new data conversion and 64-bit features to its Denali accounting software.
Data conversion capabilities in Denali 2.8 allow customers of Cougar Mountains CMS Professional software to upgrade to the higher-end Denali line.
Denali uses structured query language, or SQL, database technology, which supports greater transaction volumes, larger multiple-user networks and multi-level security. The latest version provides 64-bit compatibility, allowing it to operate better under newer versions of Windows. Denali 2.8 is compatible with both Windows 7 Professional 32- and 64-bit technology, and Windows Server 2008 R2 64-bit.
Cougar Mountain has enhanced the data entry screens and functions in Denalis purchase order and sales modules. Denali 2.8 also provides expanded features for tracking customer information. In addition, Cougar Mountain has improved the integration between CMS Professional Payroll and Denali 2.8. After posting transactions and exporting the payroll data, CMS Professional Payroll users can then import accounts payable, bank reconciliation and general ledger data into Denali.
