Crowe Horwath CEO Charles Allen to Co-Chair Network

Crowe Horwath LLP CEO Charles Allen will become co-chairman of the global accounting firm network in which his firm is the main member in the U.S., Crowe Horwath International.

Allen and Yang Jiantao, principal partner of Ruihua Certified Public Accountants in China, will become co-chairmen of the international network, starting Jan. 1, 2015. They will succeed Andrew Pianca of Crowe Clark Whitehill in the United Kingdom, who is completing a two-year term. Crowe Horwath International is ranked among the top 10 global accounting networks, with more than 150 independent accounting and advisory services firms in more than 100 countries around the world.

“Chuck and Jiantao have a close working relationship as business leaders in two of the world’s largest economies,” said Crowe Horwath International CEO Kevin McGrath in a statement. “Having these two individuals as co-chairmen will provide enhanced cultural diversity and perspective. The board of directors and network member firms look forward to the many contributions they will make to further the influence and impact of our network on the global stage.”

Allen has served as CEO of Crowe Horwath LLP since 2007 and currently serves on the Crowe Horwath International board of directors. Yang is the principal partner of Ruihua Certified Public Accountants and is also a current board member of Crowe Horwath International.
