CYMA Offers Nonprofit Accounting Software Bundle for Charities

Accounting software developer CYMA Systems is now offering a steep reduction in pricing to nonprofit and qualifying charitable organizations for its bundled accounting software.

Until July 31, organizations that qualify under Section 501(c)(3) of the Tax Code can purchase the specially priced accounting software bundle incorporating general ledger, accounts payable, grant tracking, a database application, and one year of software updates at a discount price of $795, compared to a regular price of $3,800.

“For over 30 years, CYMA has supported thousands of not-for-profit organizations using our accounting software,” said CYMA vice president of operations Sheila Merryman. “Smaller nonprofits really need a specific nonprofit accounting solution like CYMA, but in this environment of reduced contributions, accounting software is not always viewed as a budget priority. This bundle should help small and midsized organizations modernize, organize, and prepare for growth.”

Specially designed for the nonprofit world, the company’s CYMA IV accounting software allows multiple net asset accounts and automatic inter-fund offset entries, providing the ability to track funds separately and to balance each fund within itself.  Other features include multiple checking accounts, allocation distribution, departmentalization, recurring and reversing entries, flexible budget comparisons, volume billing, encumbered invoice processing and sophisticated security.
