DeLeon Appointed MACPA Chair

Allen DeLeon, CPA, PFS and a founding partner of local CPA firm DeLeon & Stang, has been appointed chairman of the Maryland Association of CPAs.

"I am honored to be named chair of the MACPA and look forward to carrying out my term," DeLeon said. "I know the MACPA board members, including myself, are committed to enhancing the resources and support the organization provides to Maryland CPAs."

DeLeon focuses on audit, tax, financial and advisory services for businesses and not-for-profit organizations at his firm, which was founded in 1984. He has also worked in industry as controller or chief financial officer of several not-for-profit organizations. He holds a BBS in Accounting from the Hofstra University School of Business.

Founded in 1901, MACPA is a statewide professional membership organization of Maryland CPAs.
