Deloitte announced it has broadened its relationship with SAP, signing a global value-added reseller agreement that will permit participating Deloitte member firms to resell SAP products and product maintenance support services under a single global framework.
Participating Deloitte member firms will be able to offer business solutions that include SAP software and maintenance, along with industry-specific pre-configured solutions, implementation services, and application maintenance support services.
The agreement also enables participating member firms to license SAP software offerings directly to clients. Deloitte is one of the few SAP partners participating in the global VAR program, which has specific entry requirements including global coverage, reseller capabilities and SAP services.
"We're seeing a trend in the marketplace where clients are looking for creative approaches to lowering the cost of ownership, accelerating benefits, and preserving high quality through the implementation of SAP solutions," stated Jan Waals, SAP practice leader at Deloitte Consulting. "Participation in the global VAR program will provide an additional way for us to fulfill these new needs."
The global VAR agreement is in addition to Deloitte Global’s long-standing commitment to SAP and its strategic alliance program, with more than 11,000 practitioners in member firms in more than 135 countries dedicated to SAP solutions.

"Deloitte Global's global VAR agreement with SAP will enable customers to more quickly and easily take advantage of Deloitte member firm's expertise in implementation, maintenance and support of SAP solutions."
