eCopy Offers Document-Imaging Software

eCopy Inc. has introduced eCopy PaperWorks, a document-imaging software package that can be used by accounting firms.

eCopy PaperWorks helps businesses convert electronic and paper documents into text-searchable, secure PDF files and include them in their workflow. Users can capture paper documents from a desktop scanner, and combine scanned documents, faxes, e-mails and electronic files into a single PDF file. Documents can also be merged from a variety of networked storage locations.

Users are able to view, edit, mark-up and manipulate the files, as well as insert bookmarks, add headers, footers and stamps, and electronically sign their documents. The software also allows them to annotate pages using drawing, text, highlight, blackout, whiteout and notation tools. Users can save the files as secure documents, distribute them via e-mail and fax, and integrate them with back-end applications and business process workflows. The software includes built-in connectors for Microsoft SharePoint, EMC Documentum, Autonomy iManage WorkSite and Open Text eDOCS DM.
