Eide Bailly Elects Two New Board Members

Regional CPA firm Eide Bailly’s partners have elected Mark Martens of Fargo, N.D., and Ty Inglis of Minneapolis to the firm’s board of directors.

Board members are elected for a three-year term and are eligible to serve two consecutive terms.
[IMGCAP(1)]Martens, a partner and CPA, was elected to a second term. He currently serves as vice chair of the board of directors. Martens also chairs Eide Bailly’s Insurance Industry Group and is past chair of the Agriculture Processing Group. He serves as co-chair of the Firm’s First Focus committee, which focuses on women in the profession.

Martens provides audit and accounting services with an emphasis in providing services to insurance companies, rural utilities and agricultural processing entities. He has more than 20 years of public accounting experience. He joined Eide Bailly in 1991.

[IMGCAP(2)]Inglis, a partner and CPA, has more than 25 years of experience providing traditional and nontraditional services, including business valuations, buy/sell agreements and forecasts and projections to clients in various industries, including cooperatives, automobile and truck dealerships, construction companies, manufacturers, nonprofit organizations and retailers. He joined Eide Bailly in 1984.

The board of directors is responsible for determining Eide Bailly’s strategic direction, including goals and objectives, setting policies and overseeing the effectiveness of Firm management. The board also provides guidance and support to ensure the Firm is meeting the expectations of their clients, staff members and partners. With their oversight, Eide Bailly reached $152 million in net revenue for fiscal year 2010.
