Eide Bailly to Merge in Edison, Perry & Co.

Edison, Perry & Company PC, an accounting firm in Enterprise, Ore., will be joining regional CPA firm Eide Bailly LLP, on Jan. 11, 2016.

Edison, Perry & Co. will assume the Eide Bailly name and become Eide Bailly’s first office in the state of Oregon, raising Eide Bailly’s total number of offices to 29 in 13 states. The combination will add 16 staff to the firm, including one partner, Edison, Perry & Co. president Jeff Edison, who will serve as office lead partner in Enterprise.

“Joining Eide Bailly will allow us to focus more time on client service and offer our clients expanded resources,” Edison said in a statement. “We’re excited for the possibilities this will create for our clients, and I’m personally looking forward to more time to make face-to-face connections with them, which is something that’s been an integral part of our business. It’s important to me that my clients are well cared for now and in the future, and joining Eide Bailly ensures they will have the resources they need to grow their businesses and reach their long-term goals. I’m also excited for our staff, who will now have greater opportunity to advance and define their careers in a variety of ways.”

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Eide Bailly, based in Fargo, N.D., ranked 20th on Accounting Today’s 2015 list of the Top 100 Firms, with $195.4 million in annual revenue.

Enterprise is located between Eide Bailly offices in Spokane, Wash., and Boise, Idaho, which strengthens the firm’s ability to provide resources and solutions to clients in the region while delivering local, personal service.

“Edison, Perry & Co. is a strong practice, and adding them to our Eide Bailly family creates a corridor that solidifies our commitment to expand in the Northwest and deliver exceptional service to mid-size businesses there,” said Eide Bailly managing partner/CEO Dave Stende. “Businesses in the region will have another choice for services and access to a deeper variety of expertise, including research and development tax credits, cost segregation, international tax services, state and local tax services, and much more. We always welcome the opportunity to team up with CPA firms who are looking to improve their service offerings and ensure they have continuity in their business—both for their clients and their staff.”
