Emerging Information Systems Inc. has introduced a new version of its NaviPlan Select financial planning software with improved estate planning features, a redesigned presentation module, and support for real estate investment trusts.
The software includes several updated features in both the basic and advanced estate planning modules to handle grantor retained income trusts, qualified domestic trusts and testamentary charitable lead annuity trusts. The addition of real estate investment trusts raises the number of asset classes from 12 to 13.
The redesigned presentation module updates the look of the software’s interactive visual planning and sales tool. Other new features handle 72(t) distributions, Coverdell accounts, inherited IRAs and more.
An enhanced scenario manager offers additional override capabilities for real estate, business entities, stock options, pensions and insurance policies. More Social Security methods are also now available.
