Enlocked announced its next generation secure email encryption solution, which encrypts and decrypts messages locally on a user’s computer, tablet or smartphone using a key unlocked with the user’s secure passphrase.
Messages are then sent over users’ own email services so Enlocked never sees the unencrypted content. Versions are available as a browser-based client, Enlocked Anywhere, a plug-in for popular email clients that requires no installation, or as an app for Apple or Android mobile devices. Secure emails can be sent by drafting a message then pressing “send secure,” without needing to exchange keys or notify users that the message will be sent.
In addition to providing the secure email exchange of private information for business professionals, Enlocked also complies with HIPAA requirements for privacy of electronic Protected Health Information (ePHI).
