Austin, Texas — Envision Consulting Group, a Best Software reseller for both the MAS 500 and SalesLogix lines, has incorporated a wholly owned subsidiary specializing in mobile business applications for enterprise-level and customer relationship management software customers.
The new company, Enlighten Mobile, currently provides mobile manufacturing and distribution suites centered on MAS 500. Future offerings will include a field service suite that integrates with SalesLogix. “We really don’t see any limits to this new technology,” said Envision president Dennis Karus. “The market’s ready for a quick and easy mobile solution to connect their business.”
The Enlighten Mobility Manufacturing and Distribution Suites, which debuted at June’s Best Insights partners conference in Orlando, Fla., are the result of a partnership between Enlighten and HandCloud, also headquartered in Austin.
A data management link created by HandCloud allows configurable access to the MAS 500 and SalesLogix applications. Mobile workers can be supplied with the data that they need in real time or offline by using off-the-shelf handheld devices.
Enlighten will offer the mobility suites both to end users and to other Best resellers.
