Business software developer Epicor expanded its Latin American presence by allying with Technology Coast Partners in Chile and Ability Data in Colombia.
TCP has been a distribution partner for Epicor in Latin America since 2002, but the Miami-based company will now be selling Epicor’s enterprise resource planning, customer relationship management and supply chain management software to companies in the Chilean market, especially in the manufacturing sector.
Ability Data, based in Bogota, Colombia, and Miami, will also sell Epicor’s software in Colombia, as well as implement and support it.
Epicor has 250 employees of its own in Latin America, in addition to alliances with companies like TCP and Ability Data. The company established a development and support center for Latin America and the Caribbean region in Monterey, Mexico, in 2000.
