Business software solution provider Epicor Software Corporation and CPA and consulting firm Plante Moran announced a strategic alliance to deliver the next-generation enterprise resource planning solution to the Top 15 firm’s growing manufacturing client base.
Southfield, Mich.-based Plante Moran, with an independent team of ERP systems advisors and implementation specialists, recently joined the Epicor Inspired Partner Network to serve Epicor ERP customers.

As part of the Epicor Inspired Partner Network, Plant Moran will provide manufacturing clients with scalable business management solutions and consult with Epicor on industries including aerospace and defense, industrial, and life sciences manufacturers.

Plante Moran also hired John Lumpkin, who will be based out of the firm’s Chicago office, to lead the new team providing Epicor services. Lumpkin’s background includes specialization in providing enterprise software and information technology consulting services, including Epicor consulting. Prior to joining the firm, Lumpkin led a $2.2 million, 18-month, multisite Epicor ERP implementation and served as the Epicor ERP leader, providing IT consulting services in manufacturing and distribution.
