Los Angeles (Feb. 25, 2003) -- James R. Hitchner CPA/ABV, ASA, has joined The Financial Valuation Group, a national valuation and litigation services firm, as managing director in the Atlanta office.
Hitchner spent the last seven years with Phillips Hitchner Group in Atlanta, which he co-founded. He is a frequent speaker at AICPA, ASA, NACVA and state society conferences, as well as co-author of three books on valuations. He is a member of the AICPA Business Valuation Hall of Fame and current member of the AICPA business valuation standards task force.
Hitchner is a founding member of The Financial Consulting Group, an organization of independently owned accounting, business valuation, and financial services firms that provides member firms access to other FCG associates with specialized valuation/litigation expertise and industry knowledge to work together on projects needing additional staffing, and to develop shared processes and methods that increase the ultimate quality of services.
