FileThis Pro Integrates with SmartVault Doc Storage

Digital document collection and filing service FileThis Pro launched an integration with SmartVault, provider of SaaS online document storage and secure file sharing solutions.

The integration was created to save time by automating bookkeeping workflow. FileThis Pro enables accountants to collect clients’ taxes and financial statements by fetching bank statements, bills and tax-related documents from more than 400 institutions and converts them into text-searchable PDF files. The service then delivers them to storage locations like Google Drive, Dropbox and now SmartVault. By sending files directly to a clients’ folder in SmartVault to be processed, the integration prevents accountants from having to upload source files manually.

SmartVault users can use the integration by connecting their FileThis web app with their financial accounts and setting up the storage destination as SmartVault, which will deliver up to three years’ worth of statements to a designated folder there.
