Herbein + Company said that that four of its partners and executives have been appointed to serve on several of the PKF North American Networks committees in 2010.
COO and partner Michael J. Rowley has been selected to serve as the chairman of the Large Firms Task Force. Partner Robert F. Firely has been selected to serve as vice chairman of PKF North American Networks Accounting and Auditing Committee. Partner James A. Michalak has been selected to serve on the Financial Institutions Committee and human resources manager Jason A. Holland has been selected to serve as vice-chairman of the Human Resources Committee for 2010.
PKF North American Network is a membership association comprising 86 independent accounting and consulting firms in North America that are dedicated to serving middle market businesses and individual clients.
Separately, the firm announced that announced Jessica L. Brunner and Nicholas L. Bieber passed the CPA Exam. Brunner joined Herbeins accounting and auditing department in December of 2005 and is currently a senior accountant who works primarily in the government and nonprofit area. Bieber joined Herbeins accounting and auditing department in July of 2008 as a staff accountant and is currently an advanced staff accountant who works primarily in the government and for-profit arena.
