FPA Celebrates First National Financial Planning Week

Atlanta (Oct. 4, 2002) -- As part of its efforts to promote public awareness of personal financial planning, the Financial Planning Association will celebrate its first National Financial Planning Week Oct. 7-13.

Several cities and states nationwide will celebrate with events such as personal finance fairs, retirement seminars, and question and answer sessions. Fourteen states including Arkansas, California, Connecticut, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, Texas, Utah, Virginia, and Wisconsin have proclaimed next week Financial Planning Week, FPA said.
