Tax prep firm Gilman Ciocia has acquired Madison CPA, a Fort Lauderdale accounting firm.
All of Madison's staff will relocate to Gilman's offices at East Las Olas Blvd. Gilman provides tax prep, financial planning, accounting, estate planning, wealth management and lending services. The firm expects the acquisition to reinforce its business model.
"This new alliance will only benefit and bring value to both of our client bases in the region through our mutual knowledge and expertise in the accounting, tax planning and financial planning services that we offer," said Michael Ryan, president and CEO of Gilman Ciocia, in a statement.
Gilman Ciocia is based in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., but also has offices in Connecticut, Florida, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
