Glass Jacobson, a wealth management and CPA firm, has acquired Finkelstein & Geser, another firm also based in Owings Mills, Md.

The two principals, Harvey Finkelstein and Charles Geser, have a combined 50 years of experience. Finkelstein co-founded the firm in 1997 after working at Glass Jacobson. The firm specializes in compilation and review services, tax planning and preparation, financial planning, and alternative financing arrangements.

"They have a lot of tax expertise and business advisory experience," said Edward J. Jacobson, president of Glass Jacobson. "We believe you can never surround yourself with enough talented people. Our goal is to amass the greatest and most talented staff we can."

Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed. Finkelstein, Geser and two of their staff members will move to Glass Jacobson's expanded offices on Jan. 16.
