Glass Jacobson Merges in OneSource Financial

CPA wealth management firm Glass Jacobson merged in OneSource Financial Services of Montgomery Village, Md., on Tuesday.

As part of the deal, OneSource president Michael K. Creamer will become a principal at Glass Jacobson. The transaction, effective immediately, represents Glass Jacobson's third high-level merger in the Washington, D.C., metro area in the past year, adding extra personnel to provide accounting, tax and investment services at the firm.

“The growth Glass Jacobson has experienced in the Washington market in the past year affirms that the services we provide are unique and will fill a need in the business community,” said Glass Jacobson president Ed Jacobson in a statement. “Michael Creamer fits perfectly with our holistic approach to client management and will be a tremendous asset in helping area business owners navigate the personal and business issues they face.”

Creamer has more than 19 years of experience as a CPA and more than 14 years’ experience as a Certified Financial Planner. He helps clients with investment advisory, financial planning and risk management. Creamer also provides accounting services to small and midsized business clients, including professional service providers and not-for-profits.

“In little more than a year, Glass Jacobson has become a dynamic player in the Washington market, and it’s exciting to be part of a truly full-service firm,” said Creamer.
