Proxy research and advisory concern Glass Lewis & Co. said it would expand its partnership with IW Financial, a provider of environmental, social, and governance research, to include a broader range of research offerings, including global security risk/terrorism and custom research.

Under the new agreement, the two firms will provide Glass Lewis clients research that is available via data feeds or through IW Financial's online platform, which includes the firm's proprietary analytics.

"It is increasingly valuable to our clients to have access to a broad range of environmental and social data in analyzing potential investments and in assessing proxy voting decisions," said Robert McCormick, chief policy officer at Glass Lewis. "This new agreement will allow us to better meet the need for customized research in these areas."

Terms were not disclosed.

Glass Lewis serves institutional clients that collectively manage more than $15 trillion in assets.
