Norfolk, Va. (June 25, 2004) -- Goodman & Co., a nine-office CPA firm based here, will merge with Springfield, Va.-based Crutchley, Marginot & Tosi PC, effective July 1.
Terms were not disclosed.
In early fall, Crutchley, Marginot & Tosi will relocate to the Goodman & Co. office in Tysons Corner, Va., and will adopt the name Goodman & Co.
The 66-partner Goodman & Co., which ranked No. 37 on Accounting Today’s 2004 Top 100 Firms survey with revenue of $43.2 million, has specialties in government contracting, not-for-profits, banking, health care, legal, manufacturing/distribution and construction.
Crutchley, Marginot & Tosi will add six partners and between $6 million and $7 million in revenue to the marriage.
“Our client bases are very similar and we saw them [CM&T] as an attractive fit,” said Brian Carlton, partner-in-charge of the Tysons Corner office for Goodman & Co.
