Greatland Expands State 1099 and W-2 Filing

Greatland said two of its Web sites now supply year-end filing and fulfillment functions for every state.

The Grand Rapids, Mich.-based company’s two subsidiaries, SpeedEfiler.com and FileTaxes.com, now provide direct-to-state electronic filing for all states that have filing requirements. The sites allow Greatland to offer federal, state and recipient year-end reporting for the W-2 and 1099-MISC forms.

SpeedEfiler.com and FileTaxes.com can both import data directly from various payroll, accounting, W-2 and 1099 software programs– including QuickBooks–into the required year-end W-2 and 1099 tax forms. The company’s updated technology will look at the data on each form and recognize the state filing information.  In turn, the Web sites then tell the user of the state requirements and file the forms directly with the required states.
