Groups Partner on Fraud Deterrence Training

The International Association of Consultants, Valuators and Analysts is launching a fraud deterrence training program in partnership with the fraud and forensic consulting firm Cendrowski Corporate Advisors.

CCA managing director Harry Cendrowski will serve as IACVA’s new director of education for fraud and forensic services as part of the partnership. “Economic downturns may cause financially strapped employees to appropriate corporate funds or commit other types of employee fraud,” he said.

The structured fraud deterrence curriculum is based on the proprietary methodology contained in “The Handbook of Fraud Deterrence” (Wiley, 2007), which Cendrowski co-authored with CCA team members James P. Martin and Louis W. Petro.

The program will be available in seven countries and to IACVA’s more than 8,000 associate members.
