Chin Yu has joined Hein & Associates as director of its fraud and forensic accounting services practice. In addition, the firm added Karyn Pfeffer as partner in its transaction services group.
The addition of Pfeffer and Yu comes as Hein continues to build its specialty services with transaction, valuation and fraud offerings.

[IMGCAP(1)]Yu has more than 13 years of experience with internal and external fraud investigations, litigation consulting and valuation services. He is also knowledgeable in the areas of corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions and complex financial transactions.
[IMGCAP(2)]Pfeffer has more than 10 years of mergers and acquisitions experience. She has participated in diligence engagements for both private equity investors and strategic deals within the oilfield services, construction, manufacturing, technology and real estate sectors. She worked on deals throughout North America and South America, Europe, Africa and Asia, with transactions ranging from less than $25 million to more than $2 billion.
