Donald A. Hilker, CPA, CVA, has been named partner-in-charge of the Healthcare Industry Services Group of Edison, N.J.-based Mironov, Sloan & Parziale LLC.
He will be responsible for leading a growing team of accounting and consulting professionals dedicated to serving medical, dental and veterinary practices, as well as ambulatory surgery centers and other healthcare-related facilities. He joined the firm in 2003.

"He has more than 30 years of experience serving the specialized accounting and financial needs of the healthcare profession. Hilker has consulted with numerous medical specialties for practices ranging from sole practitioners to large group practices, and has also provided business advisory services to real estate, manufacturing, wholesale and professional service companies. He holds a BS in Accounting from Monmouth University.
