Jackson, Miss. (Oct. 28, 2003) -- The regional firm Horne CPA Group continued its growth in the Southeast and in the Nashville, Tenn. area in particular with the merger of Grannis Witensant & Associates.

Horne's Nashville office is the firm's second largest with 60 employees that serve industries ranging from healthcare to construction. Grannis Whisenant employs 10 people and its practice covers audit, tax and valuation services.

By Nov. 10, Grannis Whisenant expects to move its staff into Horne's space. Grannis Whisenant's Murfreesboro, Tenn. office spun off on Sept. 1 to Grannis & Associates PC.
