Horne LLP, a Jackson Miss.-based CPA firm, announced its first growth outside the southeast, with the acquisition of the Tucson, Ariz.-based firm, Moran, Quick & Associates.
Financial terms of the deal, effective Nov. 1, were not disclosed.
With the addition of Moran, Quick & Associate’s client base, Horne said that it will now serve more than 3,000 franchise client locations across the U.S. representing more than 30 national and regional franchise brands. Combined, over 150 franchise accounting professionals will be responsible for the business. Following the acquisition, Horne LLP’s business with franchise clients will be approximately $12.5 million.
The Tucson office, established in 1984, is expected to double the size of its staff over the next three years.
The firm represents clients in the industries of health care, franchise, financial, construction, manufacturing and retail, as well as small businesses, service organizations and individual clients.
Horne has offices in Mississippi, Tennessee, Alabama, Louisiana and Arizona and client representatives in Colorado, Illinois and North Carolina. The firm has 450 staff members serving clients in 45 states.
