Staffing company Accounting Principals has released its list of the top 10 cities to find a finance job.
Houston led the way this year, due to the city’s low unemployment rate, high concentration of Fortune 500 companies and booming energy industry.
Other cities that made this year’s list include:
1. Houston, Texas
2. Richmond, Va.
3. New York, N.Y.
4. San Francisco, Calif.
5. Atlanta, Ga.
6. Dallas, Texas
7. Tulsa, OK
8. Overland Park/Kansas City, Kan.
9. Raleigh, N.C.
10. Chicago, Ill.
The list was compiled based on internal data from Accounting Principals’ regional branch network across the U.S. and a general assessment of the overall economic environment in each market.
