Pat Hanrahan, co-founder and chief technology officer at visual analysis solutions provider Tableau Software, was honored with the Visualization Career Award from the IEEE Computer Society's Visualization and Graphics Technical Committee. The award was established in 2004 and is given annually to an individual in recognition of their lifetime contribution to visualization research and development.
