Intacct Accountants Program Enhanced for 2013

Intacct has revamped its pricing and added several updates to its Accountants Program, all of which are designed to make it simpler and more compelling for accountants to join.

The Intacct Accountants Program, delivered in partnership by Intacct and American Institute of CPAs technology subsidiary CPA2Biz reportedly added more than 75 new firms in 2012, which include a mix of small and large firms.

For one, the program is now streamlined into three packages with new price points based mostly on client size.

“The new packages better meet requirements for the full range of firm clients, providing feature rich solutions for smaller clients, or complete flexibility for larger clients,” said Marc Linden, chief financial officer of Intacct. “Firms who take advantage of Intacct Accountants Program can speed client adoption and eliminate the headache of running multiple platforms.”

The Accountants Program was developed by Intacct and CPA2Biz in 2009, when the two companies launched their partnership and is delivered through accounting firms. Few other specific details were available about the enhanced program, but to learn more, visitwww.cpa2biz.com/intacct.

In somewhat related news, Intacct also made some moves to further promote the product via its reseller channel through the hiring of former Deltek senior director of global accounts Nancy Sperry. She is now Intacct’s senior channel executive for the Northeast region and will also be working on promoting the company’s project accounting offering.
