Intacct said its cloud accounting system is now able to exchange client financial data with CCH ProSystem fx Tax.
Intacct and ProSystem fx Tax users can now synchronize their client data, including charts of accounts, trial balances, transaction details and more, between the two systems. The integration is available through a program offered by the American Institute of CPAs.
Intaccts software uses the cloud computing model, allowing users to access it through their Web browser on demand from outside servers.
CCH plans to soon introduce a Software-as-a-Service version of five ProSystem fx Suite products, including ProSystem fx Tax. This next generation of the ProSystem fx Suite will be delivered via a centralized SaaS system to help customers connect to their clients, staff and information. Intacct and CCH also plan to integrate Intacct with the new SaaS version of ProSystem fx Tax.
The integration stems from Intaccts recent agreement with the AICPAs CPA2Biz subsidiary to create an accountants' program (see AICPA, Intacct Launch Accountants Program). Intaccts partnership with the AICPA was established to improve productivity, increase transparency and reduce costs for AICPA member firms and our new integration with ProSystem fx Tax strongly supports this charter, said Intacct senior vice president of marketing and business development Daniel Druker in a statement. Integration between Intacct and tax preparation software has been one of the top requests from our CPA partners in the Intacct Accountants Program and we're happy to have delivered it first with the best, most widely used tax preparation application from CCH.
The integration between Intacct Accountant Edition and CCH ProSystem fx Tax is available at no charge by joining the Intacct Accountants Program, which is available exclusively from CPA2Biz. For more details, visit http://www.cpa2biz.com/intacct.
