Intuit Declares May 8 Accountant Day

Intuit officially declared Thursday, May 8, Accountant Day, designed to showcase the business and financial management solutions provider’s partnership with accountant customers and shared in real-time via social media.

All 260 employees in the accountant and advisor group will be engaging with accountants to learn about their processes and how they feel about new technologies and Intuit.

The 24-hour interactions, including group sessions at Intuit sites, one-on-one engagements, chance to listen in on support calls, and social media discussions, are accessible via the #AccountantDay social thread.

Accountant Day was declared by Jim McGinnis, leader of Intuit’s accountant and advisory group, who explains the importance of the holiday in his blog post. The event is happening in Australia, India, the U.K., Canada and the U.S.
