Intuit Offers New Channel Program

Intuit revealed a new channel initiative, the QuickBooks Enterprise Solution Provider Program, at their first annual QuickBooks Enterprise User Conference.

"When we re-launched the QuickBooks Enterprise solution, we were surprised by how many customers came from the midmarket and said they needed more help when converting from another system," said Bill Lucchini, vice president of Intuit's midmarket group. "They really want expert help when doing their data conversion. So we have big assets, we have 60,000 ProAdvisors and developers using our software development kit, and between the two we have great assets. But it's not helping people if they can't find the help they need."

A database of just QE ProAdvisors will be created so customers can search for an advisor without sifting through all the ProAdvisors for all the QuickBooks products, as they do today.

Applicants for the new program must be ProAdvisors of QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions and Lucchini said there will be a cap on the number of advisors allowed to enter into the program, though the number has not yet been set. Participants will receive the maximum discounts on QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions, as well as help in marketing, support, training and lead-generation tools from Intuit.
