ITA Forms Referral Alliance with BKR

Scottsdale, Ariz. (March 5, 2003) -- The Information Technology Alliance, a consortium of information technology consultants and resellers that includes some of the most successful practices affiliated with CPA firms, has established a referral program with the BKR International network of independent accounting firms and business advisors.

ITA, a former membership section of the American Institute of CPAs, said the alliance "empowers members of each association to work together to meet the full spectrum of client needs." ITA's top member firms will be available to provide software and other IT solutions to clients of BKR's North American firms, and BKR's firms will provide their services to the ITA members' clients

"This program fills a terrific strategic need in both our organizations," said ITA president Ron Eagle. BKR International executive director Maureen Schwartz said, "Finding the right answer to address our membership's growing client technology needs has been a key priority this past year. We knew that an alliance was the right approach."

From a headquarters in New York, BKR International represents the combined expertise of more than 125 member firms with 300 offices in over 60 countries around the world. Scottsdale, Ariz.-based ITA's more than 150 members include hardware and software vendors, business associations, and practice management consultants/ trainers, in addition to its core IT consulting and reseller firms.
