Web-based membership management software developer Avectra has teamed up with the Information Technology Alliance to aid its association management needs and ultimately serve and grow its membership.

Through the use of Avectra Social CRM, the ITA will have a complete set of membership management features that include advanced querying, the ability to integrate with third-party applications, e-commerce, e-marketing and event management capabilities.

In addition, ITA staff, members and industry partners will be able to utilize MemberFuse, a built-in social networking and private online community, along with social media management features provided by the Avectra Social Console.

“We started with a bunch of non-integrated tools, including Microsoft Access databases and Excel spreadsheets to manage the association,” said ITA president Ron Eagle. “As we have grown, our hodgepodge of support systems has not kept pace and it was time to move to an integrated solution that would support our growth and diversity. We think Avectra is the right solution for that challenge.”

The ITA is an association of top VARs, CPA firms, and technology product and service providers. Avectra joined the ITA as a member in April 2011.
