Kabat Schertzer to Merge in TD CPA in Florida

Kabat, Schertzer, De La Torre, Taraboulos & Co., an accounting and tax advisory firm based in Miami said Monday it will merge with the boutique firm, TD CPA, of Hollywood, Fla., extending KSDT’s reach across South Florida.

Under the terms of the merger, TD CPA founding partner Taly Dery will join KSDT along with CPA Wendi Dunn and CPA-candidate Jonathan Daniel. In addition, KSDT will take over the lease of TD CPA’s current office in Hollywood, Fla., establishing the firm’s first satellite office in Broward County. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

“TD CPA has an impressive reputation and has built a significant practice providing tax and financial planning services to foreign investors, individuals and businesses, specifically within the Israeli market,” said KSDT managing partner Jeffrey Taraboulos in a statement. “We welcome the team to our firm and look forward to leveraging their expertise to expand our offerings and broaden our presence in South Florida.”

TDCPA founding partner Taly Dery said that joining with KSDT would enable her firm to offer clients greater value, deeper knowledge of specific tax issues and a greater range of services to meet their needs. ”The merger further provides us with the resources required to better manage our firm’s explosive growth,” she added.
