Rothstein Kass, a large regional CPA and consulting firm based here, has tapped Steven A. Kass and Howard Altman as co-managing principals following the recent retirement of RK co-founder Harris Rothstein. Kass, a 24-year veteran of the firm, will serve as chief executive and remain in charge of RK's entrepreneurial services practice. Altman, a 20-year firm member, will continue as principal-in-charge of the firm's financial services niche. Altman also serves as editor of the Wall Street Argus, the financial services publication of Rothstein Kass. Both Altman and Kass will also serve as board members. With seven domestic offices and one in the Cayman Islands, Rothstein Kass ranked No. 23 on Accounting Today's 2005 Top 100 Firms list with revenue of $87 million.
