Kellogg & Andelson Acquires UHY Office

Kellogg & Andelson Accountancy Corp. has acquired the Los Angeles office of a subsidiary of UHY Advisors.

None of the existing staff members in the office are moving over to Kellogg & Andelson. All are either retiring or moving into private industry. "On our side, we were just looking to grow," said Tiffany Karlin, marketing director at Kellogg & Andelson.  The UHY office has been providing tax, accounting and auditing services, but after the deal, which closed on Feb. 2, UHY Advisors will no longer have a presence in Los Angeles.

UHY has 25 offices across the United States and services midsized and larger companies in the areas of tax and consulting.

“We are pleased to welcome the clients of UHY Advisors to Kellogg & Andelson,” said Christian Payne, president and CEO of Kellogg & Andelson, in a statement.

Founded in 1939, Kellogg & Andelson now serves over 5,000 owner-operated, middle-market businesses throughout California.
