Kloess Takes Helm at Windham Brannon

David H. Kloess has been named president and chief executive of Atlanta accounting firm Windham Brannon.

Since joining the firm in 2001, Kloess has led Windham Brannon's assurance practice, including risk advisory services. He succeeds Charlie McGimsey, who will focus his efforts on developing the firm's litigation support practice area.  McGimsey joined the firm in 1988 and has served as president and CEO for over 14 years.

"Windham Brannon has been a part of the Atlanta community for over 50 years, and I am honored and excited to lead the firm and continue to build its legacy," said Kloess. "I hope to live up to the tremendous precedent Charlie has set for our firm."

A graduate of the University of Alabama, Kloess was an audit partner with BDO Seidman prior to joining Windham Brannon.
