KPMG Appoints Pearson MP of Montvale National Services Complex

KPMG LLP has named Timothy R. Pearson, global managing partner and vice chair for marketing and communications, to the additional role of managing partner of the firm's Montvale national services center.

Pearson, 50, assumes the office managing partner responsibilities previously held by Rick Rosenthal, who is retiring from the firm at year's end.

The Montvale center includes more than 1,400 partners and professionals in human resources, marketing and communications, information technology services, meeting and travel services, finance and accounting, the Global Audit and Risk Advisory Services Center, training, purchasing, and the Center for Leadership Development.

As global managing partner and vice chair, Pearson is responsible for the firm's marketing and communications globally and in the U.S. He is a member of KPMG LLP's management committee and chairs the global brand management and communications international steering group.

Prior to joining the firm in 1997, Pearson was senior vice president of marketing for Golden West Financial Corp.
