KPMG Launches Benchmarking Survey on 404

New York (Sept. 2, 2004) -- KPMG's 404 Institute is conducting a survey to help companies benchmark themselves on financial reporting controls and documentation as Nov. 15, the first Section 404 deadline, approaches.

The 404 Institute was launched earlier this year as a forum for stakeholders in the compliance process to share their challenges, insights and leading practices related to Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 and other regulatory requirements.

Participants can benchmark their efforts against the findings of the survey and will receive the survey results free of charge. To take the survey, which should take about 10 minutes to complete, visit www.404Institute.com.
