Kroll Expands Valuation Capabilities with New Hires in New York

New York (Feb. 11, 2004) -- Kroll Zolfo Cooper LLC, the financial consulting subsidiary of Kroll Inc., has boosted its valuation capabilities on the East Coast with the addition of a seven-person team of valuation professionals from the New York office of financial advisory firm Duff & Phelps LLC.

The group, headed by senior director Philip J. Antoon, specializes in the valuation of tangible and intangible assets for financial reporting, compliance, and litigation support purposes, as well as for mergers, acquisitions and financings. Antoon, who worked in the valuation practices of Big Four accounting firms, specializes in SFAS 141 and 142 valuation.

In addition, Jennifer L. McNeely, Timothy B. Tillson and Daniel M. Ronan join as directors. McNeely specializes in the valuation of intangible assets, specifically related to SFAS 141 and 142 valuation analyses. Tillson specializes in serving clients in the manufacturing, process, service and financial industries. Ronan specializes in machinery and equipment valuation. Tara Clarke and Barry Kaplan join as senior associates; both focus on valuing business enterprises and intangible assets for SFAS 141 and 142 purposes. Danny Orsburn II joins as an associate, concentrating on intangible asset valuations for financial reporting purposes.
