LOUISVILLE, KY.

Chilton & Medley and Mountjoy & Bressler combine

Details: Chilton & Medley and Mountjoy & Bressler plan to combine into one of the largest firms in Louisville, Ky. The merger was due to take effect Nov. 1. The combined firm, Mountjoy Chilton Medley LLP, will have 88 accountants in Louisville, 22 in other parts of Kentucky, and 214 employees. Diane Medley and Mike Mountjoy will be co-managing partners.

 

BERGEN COUNTY, N.J.

Rotenberg Meril Solomon Bertiger & Guttilla and Torchia Foster merge

Details: Rotenberg Meril Solomon Bertiger & Guttilla PC, Saddle River, and Torchia Foster PA, Paramus, have merged to form what is projected to be the largest independent firm in Bergen County. Torchia Foster will move its staff into RMSBG's headquarters, and Antonio Torchia will join RMSBG as a partner, giving the combined firm approximately 60 staff, including seven partners. The combined firm will retain the RMSBG name. Meril estimated the revenue of the combined firm will be about $10 million.

 

NORTH DAKOTA

Brady Martz merges in Reichert Fisher

Details: Brady Martz & Associates PC, Grand Forks, and Reichert Fisher PC, Dickinson and Williston, have merged, expanding Brady Martz's presence across the state. The combined firm will operate under the Brady Martz name. Financial terms of the merger were not disclosed.

Reichert Fisher brings 18 people, including the four current shareholders who will become shareholders of Brady Martz after the merger. The merger will give Brady Martz sixoffices and 160 people, including 29 shareholders, serving 9,800 clients.

 

TEXAS

Travis Wolff & Co. merges in Burnside & Rishebarger

Details: Travis Wolff & Co. LLP, Dallas and San Antonio, has merged with San Antonio-based Burnside & Rishebarger PLLC. The combined organization will operate as TravisWolff Independent Advisors & Accountants, representing approximately $25 million in annual revenue. The merger blends TravisWolff's staff of 130 with Burnside & Rishebarger's staff of 25.
