Reznick Group has named Jphn Mackel a senior manager in the firms Valutation and Transaction Advisory Group.
Based in the firms Los Angeles office, Mackel will expand the firms national focus on commercial real estate appraisal, valuation and advisory.

Mackel will serve a broad base of clients including public and private equity funds, pensions, REITs, developers and lenders. Mackel will focus on appraisal, appraisal review and appraisal consulting services for financial reporting (Accounting Standards Codifications 805 and 820), acquisitions, debt and equity financing, buy/sell, estate/income tax purposes, litigation support, and strategic planning.
Mackel brings to Reznick Group more than 12 years of appraisal and advisory experience to the firm and joins Reznick Group from Cushman & Wakefield in Los Angeles. Previously, he held a position at American Realty Advisors, and was also with Ernst & Young Kenneth Leventhals Real Estate Advisory Group for more than eight years.
